Delivery Information – Free on orders over £299
Bed Star uses a one man delivery service who specialise in transporting and delivering smaller goods and flat-packed furniture:
The chosen courier is able to transport small goods such as headboards, foot stools and bedside tables and chairs.
All flat-pack furniture will be delivered by a single courier. The services used will only deliver the ordered items to the front door of the designated delivery address. This means that if you reside in an apartment or a block of flats, the delivery driver will deliver to the lobby of the building only. Please understand that the logistics companies that offer a ‘next day’ service are not insured to enter private premises. Please be aware that if you purchase a product on a ‘next day’ delivery service and require assistance with the positioning of the product, you must arrange the assistance yourself.
If your mattress comes vacuum packed then it will be brought by the one man delivery team. Larger mattresses will be delivered by the contracted 2 man team.
All deliveries take place between 7am – 7pm Monday to Saturday – please note there is a £30 surcharge for Saturday deliveries. Online tracking is available on the day of delivery with an estimated 3 hour time slot given. Please note this time slot is only to serve as an indication of when delivery will take place and cannot be guaranteed.
If you are not available when your products are delivered then the courier will send a card through your post which will allow you to organise another time and date. Generally, if missed, the courier will attempt to deliver again the next working day. If, after a third attempt, delivery is unsuccessful, the item will be returned to our warehouse. After the third delivery attempt, you will be liable for another delivery charge.
Two Man Delivery Service
Bed Star uses a two man courier service for all heavier/larger items including all divan sets, divan bases and standard size mattresses. The courier service operates between 8.00am and 7.00pm, Monday to Saturday. The courier service will issue a 3 hour time slot the day before the planned delivery date via email and SMS (if a mobile telephone number is provided at checkout)
Bed Star cannot determine any time slots, these are issued solely by the courier and cannot be changed once issued.
If you are not going to be available in the issued time slot then please call the team immediately to arrange a new delivery date, please note this will incur a redelivery charge.
The courier team will try to contact you on the day of delivery 30 – 60 minutes prior to arriving to let you know they will be with you shortly. Please be aware they cannot guarantee the pre call and it is strongly advised the customer makes arrangements to ensure the property is occupied during the allocated time slot that will have been issued the day prior. The team will take your item(s) to a room of choice for you and remove item(s) if you have selected the removal service.
Bed Star does not offer any type of assembly service. if you require assistance assembling the product you will need to arrange this yourself.
If you require a delivery on a Saturday this is available for a surcharge of £30.00
